Find Sheets and use workspace search

Locate accessible work through Home, collections, and the global command menu without creating duplicate copies.

Use the workspace shell to find the original Sheet before asking someone to send another copy.

Start with the right collection

  • Home shows recent Sheets and the private and team areas available in the active workspace.
  • Shared with me lists Sheets another person shared directly with you.
  • Public sheets lists published Sheets for the active workspace.
  • Open a folder from the sidebar or Home to continue through its child folders and Sheets.

These are different discovery paths, not different versions of a Sheet. If a Sheet does not appear in the collection you expect, check the active workspace and its access source before duplicating data. See Sharing a Sheet.

Search across the workspace

Select Search or press <kbd></kbd><kbd>K</kbd>. With an empty query, the command menu provides common actions, navigation, and recent Sheets. Enter at least two characters to search.

Search groups matching results by what you can open:

GroupWhat it findsWhat happens when you select it
DocumentationLeadbase task guidesOpens the canonical guide.
SheetsAccessible Sheet titlesOpens that Sheet.
RowsMatching row content in accessible SheetsOpens the Sheet and focuses the matching row.
PublicMatching public Leadbase resourcesOpens the public resource.

Search is not an access grant. It returns only records whose authorization is checked for your current session. A group can show a Partial or unavailable status while a semantic index is recovering; use the collection navigation or the returned canonical documentation guide instead of assuming the data was deleted.

If the result is still missing

Clear filters in the Sheet, confirm the workspace switcher, and check whether the item was moved, archived, shared directly, or published. Do not create a replacement until you have checked Troubleshoot a workspace issue.
