Export or duplicate a Sheet
Create a CSV handoff or a separate working copy while keeping the original source clear.
Open the Sheet actions menu beside its title when you need a copy or a file. These actions solve different problems: export is a handoff of the current data, while duplicate creates another Leadbase Sheet you can change independently.
Export a CSV
Choose Export to download the Sheet as a CSV file. Export is useful when another system or teammate needs a file rather than ongoing access. Before you share the file, check that its recipient is allowed to receive every visible value; CSV files do not inherit later permission changes or a revoked sharing link.
Duplicate for a separate workflow
Choose Duplicate to create a new Sheet from the current one. Rename the duplicate immediately and state its purpose, for example “EMEA review copy” or “Experiment — do not enrich.” Changes in either Sheet do not synchronize back to the other one.
If people need to work on one source of truth, share the original Sheet instead. If the structure should be reused repeatedly, save it as a template rather than repeatedly duplicating a filled Sheet.
Move, archive, or keep working
The same actions menu can move an eligible Sheet into a folder, save it as a template, or archive it. Moving changes its library location, not the underlying data. Archive only when the Sheet should leave the active library; it can be restored from Archive by someone with the necessary access.
